Gil Dept: "We are relieved that it was resolved earlier than expected," said Gil Zalsos, brother of murder victim Joel Zalsos, according to Calgary Herald. Just a few weeks later, Zalsos was found dead in his Pleasant Heights home in the 1100 block of 18th Avenue N.W and the family of a murdered Filipino man who suspected he was killed by his wife's lover say they are relieved police have laid murder charges. Zalsos, 36, arrived in Calgary from the Philippines in December, hoping to rekindle a relationship with his estranged wife. As reported in the news.
