Three Toronto-area residents have been charged in an immigration fraud case by Canada Border Services Agency . The agency says the trio were arrested at a Mississauga residence last week by officers with a search warrant following an 11-month investigation. They also allege Lazaro husband, Bernabe Lazaro, assisted by providing false information in order to obtain visas. Investigators say she tells prospective clients that for a fee, she will find them employment in Canada and take care of the Labour Market Opinion paperwork which is necessary for them to obtain a Canadian visa and work permit. CBSA alleges Eliza Lazaro has been operating as an unlicensed immigration consultant since 2009.
