Gaetan Jutras Dept: The police investigation spanned two countries and several Canadian provinces. Investigators met with nearly 300 people and executed search warrants in New Brunswick, Ontario and the United States, according to Globe and Mail. Five others are being actively sought by police; they were identified as Sebastien Jutras, Gaetan Jutras, Line Pepin, Stephane Darveau and Robert Mc Clean and the S rete du Quebec said they also seized vehicles suspected of having served to transport the stolen maple syrup as well as equipment. Some two-thirds of the lucrative condiment has been recovered, say police. Police arrested Richard Valli res, 34, and Avik Caron, 39, along with a third, unidentified, suspect.
