Onelight Theatre: Shahin Sayadi

Canada Dept: Prismatic 2012, a celebration of Canada s culturally diverse and aboriginal voices, runs Friday 14 to 29 in Halifax, with 47 performances of shows from Canada s oldest Indian dance troupe to Onelight Theatre s newest play beginning Friday, according to The Chronicle Herald. There s nothing like Prismatic in the country, says Prismatic s artistic producer Shahin Sayadi, who runs the festival with his wife, managing director Maggie Stewart and the third edition of the festival, run by Onelight Theatre, includes theatre, dance, music, spoken word, film, photography, literature and performance art by entertainers from Halifax and across Canada.
