Thomas Lukaszuk, Time Jobs

Full Time Deptt: The Minister of Employment and Immigration Thomas Lukaszuk believes education is one reason why the numbers have gone down. But he admits there's still room for improvement. The province says there were 3.09 disabling injury claims for every 100 full time jobs last year, which is down from 3.63 in 2008. The provincial government reports fewer people were injured on the job last year. "When you get hurt on many jobs, you get hurt severely just because that's just the nature of the industry, but those are not excuses." As reported in the news.
