Canadian Authorities Dept: Abraham Bahaty Bayavuge, 49, was arrested in Ottawa, Public Security Minister Vic Toews said at a news conference Thursday, according to CBC. The federal government said it believes Bayavuge was involved in successive dictatorships in Congo and canadian authorities have arrested another person on the government's controversial list of suspected war criminals living in Canada. Abraham Bahaty Bayavuge has been linked to regimes in Congo associated with war crimes, Immigration Minister Jason Kenny says. CBSA Originally from Congo, Bayavuge was reportedly living in Montreal, after arriving in Canada in 2000. As reported in the news.
