Immigration: Thomas Lukaszuk

Immigration Minister Dept: Employment and Immigration minister Thomas Lukaszuk announced the results of the targeted inspection Tuesday. He said those particular violations were largely due to fast food restaurants, an industry which commonly employs young people, according to Calgary Herald. "They handed in their homework, but they didn't pass," he said of employers and hazardous material violations lead the pack of workplace safety infractions found as a result of inspections of workplaces that commonly employ young people. Lukaszuk said the results as a whole were an improvement from previous inspections, but there's still a long way to go. As reported in the news.
