Health Care Spending: Spring Election

Health Minister Dept: Deb Matthews says the budget was a missed chance to signal that the Harper government was willing to hammer out a new 10-year accord with the provinces, according to CTV. But Matthews says the provinces need a longer commitment in order to make long-term plans that would keep rising costs down and tORONTO — Ontario's health minister says she's concerned there's no commitment in the federal Conservative budget for long-term funding for health care.
