Ray Emery: Philadelphia Flyers

Calgary Herald Dept: The 28-year-old native of Cayuga, Ont., will earn $500,000 US at the National Hockey League level and $105,000 in the AHL, according to Calgary Herald. He was 16-11-1 in 29 games last season with the Philadelphia Flyers, but missed most of the year with a hip injury and the Anaheim Ducks have signed veteran free-agent goaltender Ray Emery to a one-year, two-way contract. Emery will have to clear waivers, which will expire today at 10 a.m., MT. As reported in the news.
