Affairs Minister Dept: Alberta Housing and Urban Affairs will spend $90 million on provincial capital grants for 27 projects in 13 communities across the province, officials said in a release, according to CBC. "The competitive grant process provides good value for taxpayers' dollars and ensures Albertans most in need have a safe and stable place to live," said Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Jonathan Denis, who made the announcement in Calgary and the province is helping fund more than 1,000 new housing units for low-income Albertans, officials announced on Friday. The plan is to use the money in partnership with municipalities, non-profit groups and the private sector. As
