Language Class: Canadian History

Language Classes Dept: I am a newcomer to Canada. When I hear the bad news that the government will cut settlement funding, I become discouraged, because immigrant settlement agencies give us information about employment opportunities, health care and language classes. In a LINC language class I learn about Canadian history, culture and society. I want to learn and understand more about Canada, according to The Star.
