Photojournalist Dept: I have found that, as to each complainant, the Crown s case is not met, Ontario Superior Court Justice Todd Archibald said in his written ruling, delivered Thursday, according to The Star. The 67-year-old Chilean immigrant was for 16 years a photographer with El Popular , a Toronto Spanish-language newspaper, but he left the paper shortly after he was charged in 2007 and a former photojournalist with a Spanish-language community newspaper has been acquitted of sexually assaulting six young girls over 20 years. Pedro Briceno was charged with 13 counts, including sexual assault and sexual interference with the six girls in 1987, 1991, 2006 and 2007. As reported in the news.
