Ground Staff Dept: A spokesperson for Hong Kong's Immigration Department told Postmedia News yesterday that at least five of the smuggling cases took place between April and October 2010 and that the suspects could be linked to a boarding-pass smuggling ring, according to Montreal Gazette. They are accused of helping the young man -a Chinese national in his 20s - board an Air Canada flight in Hong Kong in October while wearing a mask that made him appear to be an elderly Caucasian and a network of individuals in Hong Kong suspected of helping a young Asian man fly from Hong Kong to Vancouver wearing an elaborate disguise is believed to have helped smuggle at least eight others into Canada.
