Sagi Dept: I recently uncovered an old, yellowing clipping by the excellent retired writer, Doug Sagi, according to Vancouver Sun. The article detailed how British Columbians were accepting that immigrants were no longer coming predominantly out of Britain but also emerging from Holland, China and India and what a startling difference 26 years can make, particularly when you're talking about immigration patterns in Metro Vancouver. It was a Saturday Sun feature from 1984 headlined: "As Canada's Faces Change ... We Seem to be Growing Up." As reported in the news.
