Alberta Government Dept: Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration Minister Rob Norris made the announcement Friday, with the money to help those affected by Pakistan's worst flooding in 80 years, according to CBC. On Monday, the Alberta government said it would donate $500,000 to the Red Cross to use toward relief efforts and saskatchewan has joined the other Prairie provinces donating money to Pakistan flood relief and will contribute $265,000.
