School Piloted: Scott Lewis and Day Aug

school piloted: Our teachers really came up with this idea because the first few weeks are always lost to routine, lost to trying to figure out how to be a student and building up that endurance throughout the day, Principal Scott Lewis said, according to NOW Magazine. There's no nap anymore, so kids have to build that endurance up. During the first week of August, Pleasant Grove Elementary School piloted a four-day kindergarten readiness camp to aid its youngest students in adjusting to school before the official first day Aug. 26. And then there's the emotional piece, too. We're leaving the tears here this week so on Aug. 26, they're ready to roll. Kids are crying the first few days, so we're getting all of that out of the way now the parents crying, too, because their baby's leaving. (www.immigrantscanada.com). As reported in the news.
