There's no nap anymore, so kids have to build that endurance up. During the first week of August, Pleasant Grove Elementary School piloted a four-day kindergarten readiness camp to aid its youngest students in adjusting to school before the official first day Aug. 26. And then there's the emotional piece, too. We're leaving the tears here this week so on Aug. 26, they're ready to roll.
