others: As I approached my final semester of college, I decided to take on an opportunity out of my comfort zone by participating in a pageant, according to Huffington Post Canada. Throughout the process I gained perseverance, a greater understanding of who I am as a person, and received constant support from others even when I didn't believe in myself.
