In the early hours of Dec. 29, Oak Lake's Barbara Johnston, 54, died at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. On Nov. 20, Barbara and her husband John, like they had done so many times before, packed up their bags and flew to Cuba for a weeklong vacation.
