Relocation E: Annapolis and Refugee Family

relocation e: None of them spoke a word of English when they arrived, according to The Chronicle Herald. Originally from Darfur, a region wracked by civil war since 2003, the family was welcomed to Annapolis Royal through the efforts of Annapolis Royal Community Assisting Relocation ARCARe . ARCARe was formed in September 2015 to welcome a refugee family to Annapolis Royal. He, along with his mother and five siblings, came to Canada in June from a refugee camp in Chad where they had lived for 10 years. Under agreement with the federal government, ARCARe had to choose a Sponsorship Agreement Holder group to work with.
