staff projections: Only Nora Henderson, Sherwood, Saltfleet and Glendale saw increases, according to Hamilton Spectator. Sherwood, which is in the second year of phasing in a French immersion program, had the biggest gain at 58 students, raising its enrolment to 1,070. Figures presented to trustees this week show there were 14,418 secondary students as of the end of October down nearly 500 from the year before. Glendale had 45 more students, Henderson 27 and Saltfleet nine. Dundas 927 students were on target with staff projections, but Westdale 1,295 enrolment exceeded expectations by 136 students, while Mac Nab had 34 fewer students than anticipated.
