"Every child who can have a mother like her — it a blessing," said Sheila Copps, who was the Hamilton East MP from 1984-2004. "Right to the end she was a fighter. She had a great life." Geraldine Copps had lived at the Valley Stream Retirement Community in Nepean for the last two years due to failing health and to be near daughter Sheila. She had been in here since last Wednesday.
