And for the next two weeks, Ireland is one of many world destinations those in Winnipeg may visit without even stepping on a plane — Sunday marked the first day of Folklorama 47th year in the city. On the first evening, hundreds visited one or more of 23 pavilions that opened its doors for week one of the two-week festival. Brazil pavilion also featured dancers, drummers, food and music.
