The human rights advocacy group ranked Canada fourth in a list of 27 countries with the most-welcoming attitudes toward refugees surveyed from Amnesty International earlier this month. Seventy-six per cent of Canadians surveyed said they would welcome refugees into the country, their communities, and even their homes. Amnesty data suggests women were more likely to be compassionate than men.
