Syrian Refugees and Food Safety

: Christians have a clear duty and calling to help those in need of shelter, food and safety from violence, according to Guelph Mercury. Muslims have the right and privilege to come to this country and practise their religion freely and openly. I believe Canadians have done well in their warm welcome of thousands of Syrian refugees. But Christians who follow news events around the world must not ignore the clear evidence of carnage and violence being carried out by radical Islamists in various parts of the world. I can only allude here to the virtual destruction of the Yazidi people of Iraq and the murder, rape, enslavement and killing of thousands of Christians in the Middle East and in many parts of Africa by groups such as ISIS, Boko Haram and others.
