The usual peacekeeping model is also flawed, as it requires a peace to keep with little more than ground troops occupying a buffer zone between warring factions. However, a hybrid model in which UN peacekeepers are inserted into a war zone with full air support, to retaliate against anyone who breaks the enforced peace or who violates the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, could work.
