Fredericton area: It really nice to see the Fredericton area has been supporting the cultural market." Since it opened, the market has been adding new vendors selling food and goods from their ancestral countries on an almost a weekly basis. "I think it amazing," said Fredy Mojica, originally from Columbia, "because people like us have the ability to show people what they don't know about our country and our culture, about our food, according to CBC. People don't know many things about us, and not only us but other countries. The Fredericton Cultural Market in the city downtown has tripled the numbers of vendors it originally started with since opening last August. "It unbelievable," said Dan Taylor, one of the market managers. "We knew there was going to be interest but not to the extent that there has been. So it very interesting to be able to not only share our culture but to meet other people." Fredy Mojica, originally from Columbia, is one of the newest vendors at the Fredericton Cultural Market. Four more vendors are scheduled to setup shop in the weeks to come, including the market first Syrian business operated by former refugees. Mojica is one of the market newer vendors, now in his third week of selling his homemade Columbian dishes alongside his daughter Camila.
