Nova Scotia Premier John Buchanan and Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre

Nova Scotia Supreme Court: She was 84, according to The Chronicle Herald. There is no question Connie will have a place in history, said former Nova Scotia Premier John Buchanan, who attended Dalhousie law school with her. Constance Glube passed away Monday morning at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre in Halifax after suffering a stroke. Glube was named Chief Justice of the Nova Scotia Supreme Court in 1982, while Buchanan was premier. Before that, she became the country first female city manager in 1974, taking the office of manager for the City of Halifax. It was a first for Canada, but one of many for Glube.
