Donors who have called the province 211 telephone service in the Halifax area will receive a voicemail or email directing them to drop off donations that are needed. The centre is located at 350 Horseshoe Dr., the former RONA store location in Bayers Lake. People who have offered donations outside Halifax will have their details shared with groups helping refugees in their areas. There are more than 100 groups raising money and preparing to help refugees when they arrive, including 51 in Halifax alone.
