Halifax: As I listened to CBC Radio here in Halifax, furthermore, I learned of the vigil to honour those killed in Paris, which drew more than 100 people, according to The Chronicle Herald. Even greater numbers have participated in vigils in Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, and throughout much of the rest of Canada and the United States. I have also seen online calls for prayers for the people of France and impassioned statements of outrage. The mayor of Toronto explained, You are family. Justin Trudeau expressed solidarity with our French cousins. We feel your pain across the ocean.
