endangered species: But dozens of crocodilians – crocodiles, alligators and caimans – living in Canada have found themselves in dire straits, according to CTV. They have been orphaned by the closures of private zoos or abandoned by owners who can no longer care for them. OK, it not a real species. There actually been three reptile zoos in the country that have closed this year, says Matt Korhonen, co-owner and General Curator of Little Ray Reptile Zoo in Ottawa. Some are endangered species.
