Canadian Association Journalists national conference Halifax: Their series also won the top prize in the community broadcast category, according to CBC. In the Open Broadcast News division, the team of Enza Uda, Kathy Tomlinson and Robb Douglas from CBC The National won for "Foreign Workers – McJobs." CBC also took home the CWA Canada/CAJ Award for labour reporting, which was shared by Carla Turner, Dave Seglins, Gord Westmacott, Heather Evans, Jeremy Mac Donald and John Nicol for their work "Rail Fatigue" on CBC Radio World Report and The Current. At the Canadian Association of Journalists national conference in Halifax, CBC picked up four awards, with the Don McGillivray Award for investigative journalism going to CBC Edmonton Charles Rusnell and Jennie Russell for "Aura of Power," their work on Redford. More awards At the Radio Television Digital News Association conference in Toronto on Saturday, CBC won several network and national awards for journalism. The Gord Sinclair Award for live special events went to CBC Radio World Report and The Current for their Parliament Hill shooting special coverage.
