Lior Haimov and Tim McLaughlin

Immigration Refugee Protection Act: The offences were committed between October 2013 and March 2014, according to The Chronicle Herald. The Israelis — four women and one man — worked at kiosks throughout the Maritimes selling a product called Heat In A Click, a gel-like heating pad. Lior Haimov, 23, of Maple admitted Wednesday in Dartmouth provincial court that he knowingly violated the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act by employing five Israeli nationals who were not authorized to work in Canada. Crown attorney Tim McLaughlin said Haimov is an Israeli national who has permanent resident status in Canada. He knew the rules.
