David Hughes and Umbrella

Adonay Zekarias: The umbrella that Hughes was carrying on a rainy morning, Oct. 23, 2012, when he heard a woman cries, according to Toronto Star. The umbrella that he used as a sword in a duel with an assailant wielding a wickedly bladed knife, about 20 cm in length. This is the umbrella a friend had found and given to David Hughes. The umbrella on which was found a spot of blood. Zekarias has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the slaying of fellow Eritrean refugee Nighisti Semret. DNA extracted from that blood, as a jury has heard, cannot exclude Adonay Zekarias as its source. (www.immigrantscanada.com). As reported in the news.
