Multiple Sclerosis and Health Care

: With the May 24 MS walk coming up, I wanted to say that I could not be receiving better care, compassion and treatment, according to The Chronicle Herald. I spent a week in the QEII and had the best doctors and nursing staff I have ever witnessed. I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis by the lovely doctors at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre. I saw my sister go through the same process in Ontario and I have received a completely different standard of care here. I feel like I have won millions from the health-care lottery in Canada, with the way I have and am being treated — and the rest of Canada deserves to know what health care can actually be. The training at Dalhousie is so far ahead of what my sister and I and the rest of my family have seen anywhere from any doctor in Toronto. (www.immigrantscanada.com). As reported in the news.
