bank account: The three-week trial against Melissa Holman was supposed to begin next Monday, according to CBC. It was alleged that Melissa Holman persuaded Fusako Kametani to turn over the deeds to two properties and hand over access to her bank account. Charges have been stayed against a Calgary woman who was charged with defrauding an immigrant out of more than $2 million because the victim has since died. The two properties were later returned to Kametani and $90,000 dollars was recovered. Civil action on behalf of Kametani daughter is still in the courts.
