Those who have worked more than four years in Canada must now return to their countries of origin. Suleman said the new rules are part of an effort by the federal government to clean out the inventory of temporary foreign workers which fails to recognize the workers as human beings and instead treats them as part of a system. Suleman believes that by changing the rules the federal government is trying to have better control over the new inventory of workers who will arrive into Canada.
