Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council Inc.: The Manitoba Interfaith Immigration Council Inc. opened the doors on the new Masoud Moradi Children Library Friday morning, according to Metro News. The is a voluntary association of faith communities and Manitobans that works to welcome and help refugees and new immigrants settle and integrate into Manitoba and Refugee and immigrant children new to Winnipeg now have a library to call their own. This small little library, this small little space that we have will be a place where we will ignite in our children a love to learn, a love for reading, creativity and perhaps just some simple reflection as they turn the pages on the books that are now a part of our collection, said Rita Chahal, executive director. It important to us to be able to continue supporting our clients and their families through programs such as this.
