Ziad El Shurafa: The last of three men charged in a large immigration fraud scheme will face trial in January 2015, according to The Chronicle Herald. One of Elhajabeds co-accused, Ziad El Shurafa, pleaded guilty to five of eight charges last month. His sentencing hearing is set to start on Aug. 11 and On Tuesday in Halifax provincial court, Judge Anne Derrick set aside Jan 12-16 and possibly Jan. 19 - 20 for Mohammed Elhajabeds trial.
