Newfoundland and Labrador: For the past five years, I have had the privilege of representing the residents of Ward 1 as a member of St. Johns city council. I truly value and appreciate the trust that they have placed in me. Recognizing much of the ward encompasses Virginia Waters, I have intimate knowledge of the issues facing this district and feel I can make significant contributions to the district as a member of the House of Assembly. , according to The Telegram. I have a 10-year-old and a 15-year-old, and like many of you who have chosen Newfoundland and Labrador as your home, I want my kids to choose Newfoundland as well, and we ve lost roughly 5,000 young people from our province in the last number of years, and part of that is because we re not doing a good enough job, I believe, in making sure that they have the opportunities here that they need.
