Dalhousie University: Students at Dalhousie University have revived a program to help immigrants in Nova Scotia get access to oral care, according to The Chronicle Herald. Heather Doucette, a dental hygiene professor at Dalhousie, started the program in 2012 but it was shelved last year due to budget and scheduling constraints and The program, in partnership with Nova Scotias Immigration Settlement a Integration Services, gives dental hygiene students a chance to get hands-on practice while offering free services to immigrants.
