Dominique Arel: We already know what the result of the vote is, its a bogus referendum and its going to be a call for annexation to Russia, says Dominique Arel, Chair of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Ottawa, to Kevin Newman Live. He Putin is massing the troops it seems hes setting the stage for the unthinkable, that is the invasion of eastern Ukraine, according to CTV. Arel says if Russian President Vladimir Putin continues moving troops into the region it will lead to an occupation, which hasnt been seen in Europe since World War II and On Sunday people in Crimea will head to the polls and vote in a referendum, but unlike Canadas most recent referendum in 1995, there is really only one answer join Russia.
