Assistance Appeal Board: A Halifax woman is going to the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia after a decision the Community Services Department and the Assistance Appeal Board reached, according to The Chronicle Herald. Amendments in 2011 that fall under the Employment Support and Income Assistance Act have eliminated funding for Fogarty, and she cant afford to replace the bite plane and Sandra Fogarty is on social assistance and requires a bite plane for temporomandibular joint disorder.
