Gurmej Singh Gill: Gurmej Singh Gill appeared today at an Immigration and Refugee Board hearing in Vancouver, according to 660 News. Gill came to British Columbia, where he once lived, in November and was reportedly planning on returning to his home in Birmingham, England, when border officials ordered him to appear before the immigration board under the security section of the Immigration Act and Border officials wants a British man they believe once led the banned Sikh terrorist group Babbar Khalsa in that country removed from Canada. The Canada Border Services Agency alleges Gill was at one time the head of Babbar Khalsa, an organization that has or will engage in terrorism.
