political culture: The Ivany commission report is very thorough, at over 70 pages of content plus almost 200 pages worth of appendices. I read the report with great interest, and hope that lots of others do as well, according to The Chronicle Herald. The main thrust of the report is that both the political culture in Nova Scotia, and public attitudes toward development, need serious change. The commission listed 12 game changers essentially, recommendations , several of which could be fairly described as thematic of changes in attitude and Judging by my Twitter feed in the days following the release, it sounds like many people in the Nova Scotian political world are reviewing the report. That includes the current government with positive, if vague, acknowlegment from the premier .
