She has been waiting in pain for quite a while now, and has been unable to perform many of her normal daily activities. Manitoba has, according to the Fraser Institute, the longest waits in Canada for receiving treatment after an appointment with a specialist, according to Winnipeg Free Press. Now imagine the reason for all of these emotions, the delay in your mother's treatment, was because the spot had been taken by the mother of an NDP MLA. Political partisanship has no place in the civil service. Manitobans must know they are being served fairly when accessing services provided by civil servants. They depend on those services being provided equitably, without political favoritism. The Progressive Conservative Party understands how important this issue is.
