Liberal government: The government was on track to balance its books with a surplus of $165 million at the end of last year, Finance Minister Mike de Jong said in a budgetary update in November, according to Huffington Post. The 2014 budget will be unveiled amid negative feedback for the B.C. Jobs Plan , which banks on exports to Asia such as liquefied natural gas LNG to boost the province's economy and B.C.'s Liberal government will unveil its budget on Feb. 18 this year.
