Order of Canada: In a ruling Monday, a three-justice panel of the Federal Court of Appeal denied Blacks application to address the 11-member advisory council for the Order of Canada, according to The Star. In its decision, the court upheld a lower court ruling that said Black can plead his case to the council only in writing and Former media baron Conrad Black will not be able to personally address the council that will be recommending whether he can remain in the Order of Canada.
