Advanced Education, Finance: Halifax Needham MLA Maureen MacDonald is the leader in the House, a position needed since party leader Darrell Dexter lost his seat in the Oct. 8 election, according to The Chronicle Herald. MacDonald is also the critic for the premier, Advanced Education, Finance and Treasury Board, and African-Nova Scotian Affairs and The New Democrats legislature scorecard took shape this week with critic assignments handed out to MLAs.
