Saskatchewan: The board's forecast released Tuesday says workers in Alberta and Saskatchewan will fare the best in wage increases next year largely due to a shortage of qualified employees in the energy sector, according to CTV. The lowest average increases are expected in the Atlantic provinces at 2.5 per cent and Ontario at 2.6 per cent and CALGARY -- A report from the Conference Board of Canada suggests it's better to be a rig pig on the Prairies than a health-care worker in Ontario from a labour perspective. "The divide between East and West persists.
