Carmel Mikol: The New Glasgow Riverfront Jubilee presents an array of free events during its weekend lineup, Aug. 2 to 4, according to The Chronicle Herald. Also Saturday is the Celtic Circles Songwriters Circle at 1 p.m. with Dave Gunning, Carmel Mikol, Jim Dorie and Cyndi Cain. There will also be performances by several participants in the Teen Songwriting Performance Workshop hosted by Carmel Mikol prior to the Jubilee and On Saturday, Aug. 3, the Childrens Jubilee provides an opportunity for kids to sing, dance and play with entertainers Sunshine Sue and Scotty and the Stars, plus games and bouncy houses, from noon to 4 p.m. in Carmichael Park.
